The Best Time for Travel to Alaska

I don't want to speak about the extreme travel here, cause it is a matter of an other big topic, but let's take a small view at the Best Time for Travel to Alaska in common.

The travel season in Alaska commonly lasts from May till late September.

It's too cool in Alaska during summer so be ready to travel days at the range from 50 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit (10 - 27 Celsium). The rains are very rare in Alaska during May and June, and the July is a warmest month.

So, it's seems June and July are the perfect time to enjoy Humpback and Orca whales, White-Sided dolphins. And keep in mind also, the summer days is the longest days compare with all other seasons in the North America, as well as they are in the South.

The longest days will be in the middle of summer, it's time of the midnight sun. The daylight is up to 20 hours. Enought time to take pleasure in Alaska' wild nature with the active glaciers !

And as the matter you may assume the earlier season (till May) and the latests (past to September) likely to be a cheapest travel tours and cruises. So, it's all time for your choise.

Be on the lookout for my further travel's review, and as always - please post your questions and comments on the blog if any.

Have a Great Day!
